San Antonio Methodist Nurse Residency

Hello! So I recently accepted an offer into the San Antonio Methodist Nurse Residency Program and will officially start August 19, 2019. A little background about me: I grew up in SA but went to college in a different Texas city. I don't keep in close contact with people I went to high school with and would love to get in contact with some of y'all who are either going to be in the residency program with me or are a new nurse in San Antonio! If anyone has any questions about the residency program I'm also open!! ? Also, if anyone is in the Methodist program or completed the residency program some more insider tips or information would be really appreciated!

@deokhwa I emailed both recruiters yesterday, one replied and said an offer is coming and to wait to hear from the other recruiter.. then the other recruiter emailed me back and said they had just started extending offers, and to contact them if I hadn't heard anything by Thursday, but did not confirm that an offer would be coming. I guess it's just taking a while? Or possibly they're extending offers and if someone doesn't accept one, then they will call other people to try to get it filled. Who knows.

Feb 2020 cohort: For anyone who went to the November 8th job fair, what date did they give for making offers? I forgot to write it down during the presentation.

I went to meet and greet no call today ??? They said they would start calling today. I am from Houston wanting to return to SA. I missed all of Houston’s deadline for nurse residency.

I didn't get a call either and also went to the meet and greet. Maybe tomorrow but I know the calls were supposed to start today. What positions did you apply for?

I know this group is for Methodist but I couldn’t find a group for general February 2020 San Antonio Cohort for all the hospitals. Has anyone heard back from hospitals for the February start date?
