San Antonio Adn Fall 09

Published

I'm excited about starting the nursing program this fall at San Antonio college adn. But i'm also very nervous. Many people tell me how hard it is in nursing school. Should I be afraid? Is there any advice or useful tip someone can get me a new fish.:twocents: I signed up for pharmacology math and medical terminology for the summer my school suggested you take them. Please get me your thoughts.

Which school did you apply to? Do you plan to work while in school? I applied to Baptist's ASN program for the fall semester (evening/weekend program - I work full-time during the day). I attended an open house at Baptist last night, and we were told what to expect while in nursing school, and basically, being a nursing student is like holding a full-time job. There is a lot of reading and study time involved. But don't let that scare you. If you really want it bad enough, it is definetly doable. You can do it!

Taking those courses during the summer will be helpful for you though. I'm not taking any extra courses, but will look through my A&P textbook so I can brush up a little bit!

I got accepted at Sac in adn program. I was going to appy at Baptist if i didnt get in at Sac.

Hi, I Got in 09, I was wondering how things are going for you at SAC. I didn't get accepted into Baptist, so I applied to SAC for the spring 2010 (evening program). Since you've already started, I was wondering what you think of it so far, and if your fears came true! Emails went out last weekend from SAC, that we should be hearing from them regarding acceptance on or around November 16th. I'm so nervous!

I appreciate your feedback.
