HI! I just wanted to start a thread to see if anyone also applied to SMU for 2024 Fall. I haven't seen a thread on it yet

I also applied to the BSN and my application was verified 2 days after I submitted it on NursingCAS. ?

I was reading this off their page 

Quote

Students who apply Early Decision I by the November 1 deadline will be notified of the

decision on their application by mail in mid-December. Students who apply Early Decision Il by the January 15 deadline will be notified by mail by March 1.

But I'm not sure if that applies to BSN

So the ABSN is rolling basis first come first serve??

I also applied for the Dec 1st deadline and barley heard back last week that my application was in review. I have no idea when final decisions are made. Not sure if the extended deadline was in our benefit or not.. Eeeek. This feels so long. I'll post any updates if I hear anything.

I applied during the extension period. The response/decision notification is taking pretty long. But I was told it was gonna take 3 months after application deadline.

My friend just got her letter to the ABSN program for Summer. I'm assuming BSN letters will come out soon after?

Thanks for the update. Wow so nerve wrecking? Will we be notified by email or mail? Someone please post when they get a BSN notification ha. This is torture.

I just received an email from Samuel Merritt that my application has been through the preliminary review and to continue checking my email throughout the process, including my spam, so it looks like things are happening! Good luck, everyone:)

ABSN or the normal BSN? Sorry not sure if people use this post for both programs LOL
