HI! I just wanted to start a thread to see if anyone also applied to SMU for 2024 Fall. I haven't seen a thread on it yet

its may 7th its much farther than the late April/early may time table they provided

If anyone wants the actual admissions department; those are the emails I provided earlier up in the thread.

Someone should go ahead and email or give them a call. Emails take a long time to hear back. Im gonna call tmrw but if someone can call today and let us know what's the latest update that would be appreciated

This is not what I expected……… someone form last year told me they heard back in June.

thats false I heard they let people know in April.Probably for the waitlist.

Not false. She showed me the email from 6/15. And she wasn't waitlisted.

And that is also false because it is now may. LOL. I'm thinking they take a ton of apps to keep their admission rate up to par based on applications. They must accept as they go and if people back out then then they open more spots.   

 

 

Either way this is crazy. End of may would be 7 months. Not sure what to say anymore super confused by the whole thing. Now sure how you even judge apps based this far out - and with the capacity; while also teaching at the same time.

This is beyond crazy, I really need to plan where I go for fall. This school is holding me back on making moves because of how slow their process is smh
