Hi everyone! I wanted to start a forum for anyone applying to the Samuel Merritt University ELMSN-FNP/CM for Fall 2025 in Oakland! I am currently applying and if anyone wants to share anything feel free to do so! 

Also good luck to everyone applying 🙂

I emailed them yesterday and they replied this morning and said that they are still reviewing FNP applications and couldn't "share any other updates" beyond that.

Does anyone know if they are still interviewing for the FNP program or we all just waiting for results at this point?

Hi everyone,

Asking whether they were called for an interview for the Samuel Merritt University ELMSN program in late March or April. Submitted my application towards the end of the deadline but apart from a notification email in mid-February notifying me about the preliminary review of the application from the admission office, I have not heard from them. Getting really nervous and worried. Any one have insights or advice?

Thank you so much for sharing this post as I feel that others are also in the same boat. I also emailed them last week about the FNP program and they replied saying that my application is under review with the nursing department and they cannot provide any further updates at this time.

I just checked my portal. It shows a new box stating I am waitlisted for the FNP program
