Hi everyone! I wanted to start a forum for anyone applying to the Samuel Merritt University ELMSN-FNP/CM for Fall 2025 in Oakland! I am currently applying and if anyone wants to share anything feel free to do so!

I'm in the same boat as you! I haven't heard anything back other than they received my application too. My last letter of rec was submitted on the deadline day, so I'm not sure if that's contributing to not hearing back yet.

I received an email confirmation yesterday too regarding the preliminary review being completed! I submitted my application on the day of the deadline. And completed my application/transcript updates in early January.

Hello! 

I have also only gotten the email confirmation regarding preliminary review on the 19th and I applied Dec 1st. 

I spoke with a recent alumni and she said they reached out to her cohort regarding interviews in mid/late February so I guess the school is "still on time." Hoping to hear soon as well!

Hi all, 

I received an email about 10 minutes ago about scheduling an interview for the CM program. Anyone else get the email? Im thinking of doing it Monday or Tuesday to get it over with LOL

I heard from previous application cycles that they usually interview CM first then FNP even if you applied for both.

I also got an interview email for the CM program and confirmed my spot. Does anyone know how many applicants get accepted? I also applied to both CM and FNP.

I also got an interview for CM. Does anyone know how interviews work? Do they do waves? It seems like they sent out 35 initially.
