Samuel Merritt University ELMSN-CM/FNP - Spring 2024

Hello! The is group is for anyone who applied for the Spring 2024 Samuel Merritt Spring 2024 ELMSN-CM/FNP programs! I don't see anyone started a thread for Spring 2024 ELMSN only for the ABSN. Please fell few to post updated on here.

The email for the interview I received states it is for Spring 2024-SAC ELMSN. I also believe the Fall 2024 applications got extended to February

The only deadline I knew of for FNP was in October, not December though.

This seems like the most likely explanation for what is currently occurring with the waitlist and extremely delayed interviews. Thank you for the info! Do you mind mentioning who you were able to speak with?

I am excited to be in the ELMSN program and wouldn't wish anyone who is currently in the program to drop out. One of the students who went on a tour with the groups at orientation mentioned they were going to open more FNP spots which will be awesome but for a program starting in 2 weeks , I doubt anyone will be dropping out and finding out that we are interviewing hoping someone drops out kills any hopes I had. I wish they would open up more spots rather but I guess it is what it is.

A student stated that more FNP spots will be opening up? I just wanted to clarify what you meant

Yes she stated that she had heard from the professors that it was a possibility so when I got the interview I thought that was what was happening but Michael has confirmed it is to be on the waitlist so I doubt what she said will be happening.

Just realizing FNP is 3 years plus 1 semester long and thats a lot even though worth it! I will be dropping out of the waitlist so there's better chances for others. Goodluck to everyone on the waitlist.

Hi, anyone who had already interviewed for the FNP can tell me how to prepare or what to expect please? I know it's a group setting. But what kind of questions would they be asking us etc? Thank you!

How is everyone feeling after the interview. It seems it wasn't just for the waitlist and some spots opened up? Anyways Goodluck to everyone!

I'm unsure on FNP vs CM but there's 43 total for ELMSN.
