Hi all!!

just wanted to start a thread for the 2025 Spring BSN cohort for SMU! 
anyone put in their application..or got waitlisted for Fal 2024? Ahh

Hi all, 

I'm still waiting for an email of acceptance or not as well. I was waitlisted last year for Fall 2024 term. I was just wondering if anyone had any other updates? I will definitely let you all know whenever I get an update on my end! SMU is the only nursing program I applied to for Spring so I'm solely depending on this email.

Oh man, honestly same boat. Where did u end up on the waitlist for fall? I ended up being 26 😞 and hoping that this time around we make it in!

I was waitlisted number 40. I hope and pray that we make it in! This process gives me terrible anxiety. Do you know how many students get accepted for the BSN RN program at SMU?

This is also the only program I applied to and have still yet to hear back... I've been refreshing my emails on an a day to day and hourly basis. The last email that I received was August I believe and it was for the preliminary review of my application 😕

Same! I refresh my emails daily! It's honestly stressful trying to live day to day when I'm waiting for an email that will change my life for the better! The last email I got from them was the preliminary email as well on August 8th. I pray that we all get accepted! ♥️

Same here! I applied in July for Spring 2025 and got a preliminary review on August 13th. But haven't heard anything after. I emailed the admissions asking when I should expect to hear back from them and they said application decisions can take up to 3 months, if not sooner before the application closes. Unless there is a delay then it can take longer.

Hi everyone, I have also applied for the Spring program. I just got an email today about my login information, but no email about getting accepted. I was looking through the apps on okta and theres an app called Letter of Intent that tells me that I am accepted and I need to make a deposit of $350 to reserved my seat. I was wondering if you guys share the same experience?

I got the same email! But it didn't specify the application decision. It mentioned I need to pay the deposit to reserve the seat which I did pay the $350 deposit.

Hello, to my knowledge, the ABSN program admitee's also received an email from Okta prior to the actual letter of acceptance being sent out.
