A thread for those who applied for Spring 2025

Thank you. If you know in your heart that you want to become a nurse, don't give up that dream! I know it could be discouraging to constantly not get into a program, but your time will come when the time is right! I've been trying since I was in high school applying for college. I knew I've always wanted to become a nurse, so I tried to figure out what I can do differently to get there and developed a growth mindset on how I can become the nurse I've always dreamed to be. If not a BSN program, there's definitely other pathways you can look into. Don't give up!!
@nursemelon thank you so much for your kind words :). I wish you all the best I am sure your going to be a great nurse 🌸

@mvdmelon hey there 👋🏽,
So when I was planning to go to nursing school I found a really good company that offers private student loans and their interest rates are low however depending on income and credit you may need a co-signer or not if you can good credit. There interest rates for fixed is about 3.69% and variable is about 5.62% I left the link below. They approved me but I needed a co-signer. However I did not need in the end because I got waitlisted for most of the schools I applied to and now I'm switching majors. However for you I think this may work out great my suggestion is when you looks for loans try to only look for student loans and that too with low interest. I left the link below, good luck with everything and congratulations on getting accepted 🙂 🌸

I just signed up this allnurses for the first time! But my name is Edilyn, and I am deaf. I got accepted into ABSN for Spring 2025 in Sacramento, CA. I am wondering if anyone is the same as me. I'm excited and can't wait to work with Spring 2025 student nurses. 🙂
Congratulations Edilyn! I am starting the Spring 2025 ABSN program at the San Mateo campus. But I believe at least one other person on here was accepted to Sacramento.

Hi Edilyn!! Congrats on your acceptance! I also accepted my spot to Sacramento but I am waiting on hearing back from a couple more schools! If they don't work out I will be joining you in the Spring cohort!! 🙂
