Hi! I applied to San Mateo campus. Just received an email from SMU confirming their preliminary review of my app yest.

That's great! I applied to the Sacramento campus and received the email about the preliminary review on July 12th!

I have Patho and Pharm in progress RN, but they'll be wrapped up by end of the month! how about y'all?

Hello this is my first time applying to the sac campus! I have quite a few classes finishing next week which will make my prereq GPA a 4.0. Does anyone have an idea when they start reviewing applications because I am worried they already have looked at it without all of my finished classes (cumm GPA not very strong).

I believe they started doing preliminary reviews for Spring 25 applicants.. some of us got this email already. As long as you noted those classes are in progress within NursingCAS, I believe you can go in and do an academic update + order new transcripts when your grades are available!

Hi there! Nice to meet everyone. No update on my end. I still have two classes in progress throughout the Fall 2024 term at my local JC. Hoping that doesn't greatly impact me, but I am worried it will. This is my first application to the San Mateo location. I have a super strong GPA so hoping that helps offset my in progress classes. My counselor at SM said most people will not hear a decision back until end of Sept, beginning of Oct.

I think you should be fine, I knew someone with upwards of 5 prereqs still in progress when they were admitted!

Thank you for the encouragement. That does make me feel better. I wish the waiting time wasn't so long. Keeping my fingers crossed.
