Samuel Merritt SMU ELMSN FNP Spring 2021

Hello fellow applicants. It's been 3 weeks since the submission deadline and wanted to know if anyone have heard anything. I don't think this cycles' group has been made so I assume no one has been invited to an interview yet. Best of luck to us all

Looks like last year SMU sent invites on Sept 16th. Soon, hopefully! ??

I applied to the FNP and CM masters programs at smu & got an email for interviews for CM on last Tuesday. Interviews are the 29th and 30th. Still waiting back on FNP though.

Do you know how they plan on structuring the interview?

They just said the interview will be a video call on webex.

Hi everyone! ?

I plan on applying to Samuel Merritt’s MSN programs in the future. Right now I’m deciding on the CM or FNP. Would it be possible to apply to both during the same cycle? Have any of you had experience with this? I saw someone in this thread do it. Not sure if this is looked down upon from admissions or what ? Thanks for all your help in advance!! And good luck:)

Is anyone else bilingual (Spanish)?? I made sure to emphasize my language abilities on my application.

I am! Both English and Spanish! Yep good job I know they really like peeps who can speak other languages.

I believe you can, but once you commit to one program you withdrawal your applications for the other.  I was wait listed last cycle and was later asked if I wanted to interview of CM.

Oh cool, thanks:) I had a friend who applied to both the BSN and ABSN and it was the same case for her. Just wasn't sure if it would be different for the MSN. Either way this is all kinda nerve-wracking. Best of luck to you!!

Has anyone received an email regarding interviews for FNP yet? Also does anyone know if Samuel Merritt sends denial emails?
