Samuel Merritt Sacramento ELMN - Case Management Spring 2021

Hi, 

I was invited for an interview for the Sacramento Campus ELMN- CM Spring 2021 cohort. I am super nervous and wanted to know if anyone had any idea what we could be expecting? I know the interview is virtual and have saw that in the past they were conducted in groups. My e-mail did not say anything about it being a group interview. Does anyone have any advice or know more about what I should expect? Anything will be appreciated.

Hi Meena! 

When was your interview? I just had mine yesterday, it was a one on one so no group! It was really nerve-racking but overall I think it went well.

Mine went super well! Glad to hear yours did as well. Have you heard anything yet? The FNP group got called back pretty quickly so I thought we’d hear back by now.

Hi, I just found this thread for case management. How do you know if your interview went well, and how did you know FNP group got a call back? Sorry so many questions. I am a bit nervous about this process.

I had my interview too, the faculty member said I should hear back soon within several days but have not heard anything yet.

I haven't heard anything yet either... but after going through a deep dive into previous cohort threads, it doesn't seem like we'll hear anything for about 7-9 days from our interview.

I think mine went well based on my experience with Dr. Kate! It was more like a conversation than it was an interview, it went smoothly and I felt comfortable overall with where it went. However, I'm still uncertain with where I stand.. I'm hoping we get in! Wishing you 2 luck.

Hi, I found this thread a few days ago, but was too shy to post... I had my interview with Dr. Abbott on Wednesday. I think my interview went well, but not sure if that’s a good thing or not... I have to agree to Alexwhy. The interview felt more like a conversation than an interview. Wishing everyone luck!

I agree with both of you. How long did your interviews last? Mines was about an hour long. Also, wishing you all the best of luck, hopefully we will all get selected.

I just found this thread! My interview was also about an hour long! I was told there are 24 spots but yet only 16 interview time slots were given to me (Sept 29-30). So I wonder if anyone interviewed outside of these dates? I was surprised that the FNP group received their interview invite e-mail later. Not sure what it means but I just hope to hear back soon!!

Hope we all get in ?

Yes! They gave me an option to interview on Oct 1 or 2.

Currently refreshing my email every 10 seconds LOL. Has anyone heard anything yet? I was reading on the FNP thread that they matched dates with last year and people heard back a little over a week after their interviews. Hoping to hear something before the weekend!

Me too!! Haven't heard anything back yet! I was also looking at last year's thread to match dates. Let's hope we all hear something back tomorrow ?
