First post here, it will be time to submit applications by December 1st. I am almost done with my application and am just starting this thread to see if anyone else is applying to the Fall 2018 program? Lets get a good thread started so we can keep each other updated on interviews and acceptance!

I believe yesterday was the last day of interviews.

I received a "we regret to inform you" email at 6:51pm (pacific time). It is now 8:29pm and I am still crying. I know it's not the end of the world and i know there are other options and other opportunities....but right now....this disappointment sucks.

I wish all of you the absolute best and hope I come across your "success" articles or your "how to survive your first year etc" on this site.

Onward and upward! For you, this is only the beginning. Congrats!

awe I'm so sorry! :'( Don't be sad! SMU doesn't have enough spots for so many great applicants! ;/ You can improve your application and apply again. Maybe you can ask the advisors how you can make your application more competitive? Don't give up! :)

Hi @healingher, Im very sorry to hear that :( I know how difficult it is to receive rejections. I've had many failures myself, but each disappointment opened a different door for me. You can do this! I heard from SMU that they do like reapplicants. Make sure you ask the counselors for advice to help beef up your application. I can also help look over any essays for you as well. Dont hesitate to send me a PM. Like @naida27 said, don't give up! :D

I haven't reached enough "topic points" or w/e to respond to your PM.

I believe my science pre-req's GPA is 3.68. However, not sure how to calculate last 60/90 gpa. Other stats are in my last post on this SMU thread!

Hope we have good news to share soon! The wait is killer!

Good morning everyone! Great news... I've been admitted to the ELMSN-FNP program! :) I received the letter at approximately 7:05 am. Looking forward to working with my future cohort and colleagues! To those of you still waiting, best of luck!

Congrats to all who have been accepted! Just wondering if you all received acceptance emails early this morning or if they are still sending some out.. crossing my fingers they are still sending some out :)
