Hi nice to meet you guys I am transferring from chabot college! Just got an email today with an update , looks like decisions will go out mid October !

Hi guys, I applied for Spring 18 and I am transferring from CCC/DVC. I had a quick question, does everyone get the email saying that they made it to the "Next Phase" or only the applicants who are being considered for admission? Because I heard half of the applicants don't even make it into the next phase, due to various reasons such as not proper requirements, not enough, etc.

I've also applied and recieved the same email and Shawna said that decisions will go out mid October. Looking at the other forums from prior BSN cohorts, SMU will sometimes extend the release of decisions until beginning November. Good luck y'all! Let's keep each other posted

Definitely agree, the suspense is killing me. Did you guys apply anywhere else or is samuel merritt 1st and only pick ?

I've been applying to associate schools for 2 years now and finally decided to bite the bullet and apply to SM. For one, they actually base their acceptance on merit and not a random computer program and they're not as impacted as State schools. This time around SM is my one and only pick so I am praying I get in. You?

@kfisher0822 hello nice to meet you ! I wish you the best luck ! I applied to SMU and dominican. I got accepted to Dominican's spring nursing , but samuel merritt has always been my first pick ! But the more I research dominican the more I like it so if I do get accepted to SMU I have a tough decision to make between both schools !

I also applied at Sac State. However, Samuel Merritt is my first choice, for many reasons. Especially after I went and toured the campus and got a feel for things a few weeks ago. We'll see how it all plays out soon! I'm still very anxiously waiting, obviously.
