If you guys look at other semester blogs (Spring/Fall 2017) many students say it is easier for one to get in the Spring. Fall is mostly given to transfer students. But we never know. Don't give up ! :) #Spring2018

So how are we paying for this school? My one friend has a discover card she uses for each semester. I thought a credit union would be better due to a lower interest rate. I already have hella loans out from college the first time and second time around :no:. Im sure the school will help, but i thought it may be helpful to get preapproved somewhere? Anyone start looking into this and can offer some insight?

Hello everyone! I'm having a little trouble trying to convince my parents to let me leave the house. I live in Napa and they are adamant on making me commute everyday. I'm convinced that I'm going to have to do this on my own and I'm just scared and in need of some advice because I've worked so hard to get into this program and my parents are just making my life impossible right now.

Waitlisters! I have decided to decline my offer due to getting a bigger scholarship at Dominican. Financially, even if it was possible to receive their highest scholarship and that their program is a year shorter than DU, I am saving about $8-10k by choosing DU. Wish you all the best! See you all on the flip side once we start our careers!

@gmhnikki I was in the same exact position as you ! Although I chose SMU in the end even with the 15k Dominican offered, I think SMU fits me better personally. Wish you the best !

@Karibeary Yeah! I wish I could have chosen SMU bc it was my number one choice but I already have plenty of loans from being a SFSU transfer (not a SF resident) so housing took up a lot of my financial aid. Either way, an education is an education, and yes some schools have better programs than others but ultimately will be on us in the future and all of our goals is to become great nurses! Both Dominican and SMU had great programs though, so I am not so regretting on my decision ahah. Again wish you the best :D

Hey guys! I'm wondering if anyone applied twice before getting in, or multiple times. What did you do to strengthen your application before the next cycle of applications? I'm wondering cause the amount of time between when the admissions are announced is so close to the next deadline. Thanks!

We are planning to take the CPR class this coming Wednesday 10/ 8 /17 @ San Ramon. If you guys haven't taken it , let's do it together .. The more the merrier !!
