I wanted to start a forum for Samuel Merritt's BSN Program Fall 2017. I know there's a lot of us anxiously waiting to here back, which should be a few weeks from now. Good luck!!!

Hello! I got my email saying i got in a few weeks ago. I did the background and fafsa. in the process of getting all of my medical done. I was wondering, do you guys already live in the area? I am looking to move from the Sacramento area and hope to find a room or a roommate to find a place with.

Hi barbizan, I live in San Jose. I think that's a great idea, to rent a room.

Does anyone know what to expect when we start? Are there tests weekly, essays, and is class 3 days a week or 5?

All I know is that class is M-F, 8-4pm, plus we have 9 hours of clinical per week the first semester. At least that's what I was told at the info sessions. They do have online webinars where you can ask the counselors those types of questions. It would be nice if there was a thread on here where current students talk about their experiences.

Hi! I just found out on Friday that I got into the program from the waitlist. I live in Tracy and am also looking to find a roommate closer to the school.

How soon after you submitted your application did you hear if you got accepted into the program? I am applying for the Spring 2018 term and was curious how long they took to send out acceptance letters/emails. Thanks.

Fcisneros33, that's great one spot ahead of me! I recently received an email back from BSN admission counselor and she said there was nothing we could do as of now (but keep waiting...waiting and waiting) I also asked if we would need to reapply for Spring 2018 since we are wait list.. and she said yes unfortunately! Have you heard back?
