Has anyone else applied to this program & which campus did you pick for first choice?

I just realized something that you said, Sacramento found out already for Spring?? That was my #2 choice, so I guess I didn't get in there! Now I really need San Mateo to come through!!!! I emailed admissions......

as much as the anxiety is killing me, i'm also just getting really fed up with how ridiculously unorganized the San Mateo program is. honestly makes me question if i even want to really be in this program because they cannot even adhere to the deadlines they gave us and are not properly providing an explanation for their future students. here's hoping we'll find out within the next week.

I feel the same way jyl0162!! I just don't understand how all of us get a completely different answer everytime we call or email. Or how Sacramento found out 1.5 months ago when they have the same start date as well as the same deadlines. I'll be out of the country for the first 2 weeks of November, then we have the holidays so I emailed asking if I could get a jump start on things such as the drug test, CPR ect since those things last a year anyway. I was told "This is a personal matter/approach to things. I like to let things follow their natural course". and that she does "expect answers in a week or so" which was last Monday. I really hope to hear this week. Or I won't get any news until I get back on the 17th.

It is VERY frustrating.... I was devastated when I had to decline for fall because there was just not enough time to get all my affairs in order and complete all the required items prior to enrolling. Now I am fearful that it will be the same scenario again if I am accepted for spring. I've taken care of all of my immunizations and am scheduled for a CPR course. FYI.... they ONLY accept the American Heart Association BLS for healthcare providers course. The soonest I could find one of these that was not already full was for December. From the paperwork that I received prior to declining, background and drug screen can only be done once you've been issued a student ID #. But again, these things all take time so hopefully notification will arrive this week. HOPEFULLY.

The deadline for the ELMSN applications is Thursday, at this point, I'm trying to decide if I should spend another $50 on another application just in case spring doesn't pan out.....

anyone else want to harrass admissions today??
