Salisbury VA Hospital Hiring Process

I am currently a CNA trying to get a job at the VA Hospital in Salisbury, NC. I have filled out a few applications and was wondering if anyone is familiar with the hiring process? I have seen from previous posts that it sometimes can take awhile... I was just wondering if anyone had any personal experience or tips and if they could share it with me. Thanks!
