Salem State University Direct Entry Nursing May 2014

Hello!

I just decided to start this topic to see how things are going with the application for the Direct Entry Nursing program at Salem State University and to catch up with everyone. Did anyone here apply? Are we going to have an interview? If so, when?

I applied to Salem State as well. I think they only make decisions by April (and then the program starts in May!). I'm pretty sure that they do have interviews but I don't imagine they would be scheduled until March since the application deadline isn't until next week.

Oh, I thought the deadline for Salem was January 12th...

Their website doesn't talk about interviews, but reading the previous forums, I found out that's a possibility. I don't know if it's a good thing being called for an interview over there though. What do you think?

Do you know how competitive it is to get in?

Did you take Pathophysiology over there?

They extended the deadline last minute to February 14 for some reason.

I'm currently taking patho there. How about you?

I hope to be called for an interview at the very least!! From what I hear it's super competitive to get into... I think that's the school I'm most nervous about!

I hear you...I am not very positive about getting accepted there actually...My GPA is pretty high and I got A's in my prerequisites, but my GRE score is not good...I am not waiting to be accepted. Not to mention the lady I spoke with told me I could wait until April to take Pathophysiology, but now I am confused...I think I should be taking it with you actually...I have no hope at all what so ever!
