Salem State University ABSN May 2018

Anyone has applied to the ABSN program May 2018 at SSU?

I got into the MGH ABSN program and their deadline for decisions is March 1st, so hoping we hear by then

Kz225, congrats! Did you have to submit teas for MGH?

Thank you! Yes they required the TEAS, it was the first program that required them with your application. It messed up admissions a lot. They pushed the application deadline back four times from Nov. 1st to January 3rd

Do you mean your application status says denied ,Iguadanon? If it is the case, I am really sorry

Yup, that's exactly what it said. That's my third flat-out rejection so far. :) I was hoping that I would have somewhat of an edge because I have my master's in biology, but alas.

Sorry to hear about your rejection. I'm in the same boat too regarding gpas. What other schools did you apply to? I'm starting to lose hope.

Does anyone know what the cost is for this program?

I'm almost positive I read somewhere that it's around 21,000. That is a rough estimate though

It's $472 a credit

It's about $24,000

Have you guys been talking with/know of people who have been through this program already? I've been reading previous cohorts threads and some of them are saying that this program is "you get what you pay for" and disorganized. Some in the program are saying its worth the extra money to go elsewhere and I'm just trying to find out more info as to why

I just don't want to go somewhere else and pay nearly 25000 per semester. When you are done you will have a lot to pay back.

I live close by and had friends in the nursing program who said the program was super difficulty, the faculty wasn't very helpful, more like they wanted you to quit. I was actually going to apply there but started rethinking. But one never knows, everyone learns different and have different experiences
