Is anyone actively applying to SPSON for the May semester? I was told they were having an information session tomorrow at 10 (Staten Island location) and was wondering if anybody else would be in attendance.
I believe they also are having one today at 4 or something.

hi, I’m applying for the sept semester but in the queens location. I live in Manhattan so it’s closer. I took the first 12 minute test and purchased the hesi 4th edition book to study ahead of time. I went for the open house yesterday and they asked us at the end, who would like to take this test and I just said why not. I passed so I’m happy one part is done.
Oh okay, I actually had to reschedule the information session so I'll be going on Monday instead. I'm still thinking that the Queens location might be better for me in terms of commute, because SI is like 2 hours away from me in Brooklyn. But I heard they have a shuttle.
Happy you passed as well!

Hello all,
I applied for the May 2019 Summer semester.
They are currently calling people to let them know the status of their applications.
Is the class for May full?
I am not 100% sure, but for the Queens location, they just started calling applicants. They started the interview process on Feb 4th, so I think they still have a lot of spots open since it is so early.
Okay thanks. I am taking the HESI this week. Have you heard back yet?
Yes, I was accepted and beginning the enrollment process this week.
Congrats! When did you take your HESI? Was it a quick turnaround time from when you took the test to when you found out?
I started my process really early actually. I took the HESI the ending of December, and heard back about 2 weeks ago. From what the advisors tell you, it is a first come first serve bases so I don't think this school has a rigorous vetting process compared to other schools where admissions are based on stats. Once the spots are filled that's it, unless you are placed on a waiting list.
My advisor told me after you take the HESI and submit all your application documents, its about 2 months until you hear back, but it depends on how soon you started everything.

I will starting this may. Once you finish your hesi then they can look into your application.
