Saddleback nursing spring 2017

Published

Do we have any students on here planning to apply for spring 2017 Saddleback nursing program? I am posting 4 month before applications are being accepted but oh well, I am very excited. Let me know where you think your gonna score and how things are going in your nursing journey. I have everything done that I need so i'm taking pharm this summer and so far it seems like it will be a fun challenge.

Thank you

31 more days! Almost there!

Are there seriously only two other people on her applying to Saddleback in September?

D-day in approx. 1 week! I am also applying to Saddleback for Spring 2017. I have 85 points but I heard last semester that 67 points was enough-it really just depends on how many apply and how many points everyone has. I also took Parm this summer with Danko and have Pathophysiology this fall to get a head start on BSN classes.

I am meeting with a Saddleback nursing counselor Monday to make sure all my ducks are in a row so if anyone has any questions you want me to ask, let me know! I know of many others that are applying but are not on this forum just FYI í ½í¸

Is is anyone planning on starting on their BSN Summer 2017? Just curious if it was possible after just one semester. I want to go to Long Beach but I called them and they pretty much though I was crazy trying to plan so far ahead. That's what us type-A's do right?!í ½í²

Good luck to all applying and I hope to meet you all at orientation!!

That's awesome! I was going to take patho this semester but it did not seems like a nursing prep type of class. I was hoping for sinario based testing and its all essay and I don't have time for that at the moment. I will be taking life cycles 1 and 2 this semester and medical terms instead. I think I will have 85 points too. I'm super excited Im pretty sure I have everything together. I went in earlier this month and made sure my transcripts were transferred over and my work experience and teas was approved so I think I'm ready to go!

How many people do you know are applying?

I will also be applying! I should have 70pts so hopefully I can get in!! :nailbiting: Do you know how many people they usually accept for spring applications?

Good luck! From what I have heard 70 is pretty solid. I think they take 60 students in the spring cohort.

Hi All: I am applying for Spring 2017 as well. I will have 60 points. In order for me to get more points I will need to take the new TEAS 6 to use the better of the two scores before the Fall application period (if I do not get in this time). I have a 2 year old and a 5 year old so I am really nervous but my husband and his family are really supportive so it helps me a lot. I hope we all get in and it will be an exciting journey for all of us. :)

I just turned in my application.. It was kind of strange that the guy who went over the application didn't understand that I had taken AP English lit. And kept asking what grade I got and what college I had gone to for it.. He didn't understand that I had taken it in high school or how AP credit worked at all.. =___=* made me panic a little since he was very confused. Anyways, I'm hoping to get in with 67-70 points.

That's a good score! Does ap English lit for high school come to be equivalent to English 1a?

As far as I know it should, before I drove there to turn in my application I called and asked if they accept AP credit and they said yes.

Hi Everyone. I turned in my application yesterday. Good luck to everyone who applied. Can't wait to see what happens.

Nice! Good luck to you as well. How many points did you end up with?
