Hi everyone!

I'm applying for Saddleback for the first time with 83 points and its been so challenging since COVID. I wanted to create a place all applicants could talk and maybe help one another out!

My first letter of my last name is an L and I applied the first day of the application period

Do you get notified by email? I've been checking submittable every hour and mine is still in-progress. The anxiety is driving me nuts.

Still "in-progress".  This is my 4th time applying, so I honestly have no clue what to expect.  I was able to raise my points since last application but who knows if it's enough.  

I'm so sorry for those that were not accepted this time around. I don't think anyone outside of this experience has any clue how stressful it is.

I would feel confident I mean they sent out denials already so you probably have good odds! How many points did you have?

So with all the non-GPA pieces, I have an 83.  And for my science pre-reqs I have 2 A's and 1 B.  So I'm not sure what that GPA math is, to determine the # of points to add to the 83.  It sounds silly maybe, but considering this is my 4th time applying I am just trying to keep my stress level managed and not over analyze.  I'm almost emotionally numb about it at this point, just as a way of coping while I wait for the outcome.

You are probably going to get accepted if you have an 83 BEFORE GPA because your GPA is similar to mine and that gives us 25 pointS.

Decisions are out, got in with 91 points!

However, I will be declining as I have been accepted to a program closer to home so hopefully that will open up a spot for someone else! Best of luck to everyone!

Acceptance received.  I had 90 points.  (Sorry for the confusion in my previous comment......I didn't type out my points counting correctly).
