Looking to go back to school for my PMHNP, I have both psych and ICU experience. Maybe aiming for dual PMH& Family NP in the long haul.
I am looking for anyone who has attended Sacred Hearts or Quinnipiac's programs and their suggestions in which one is better. I'm nervous to make the jump.
Sacred heart cost less, but their placement of clinical is a list of suggestions. I already have my preceptors locked in (I have friends who are already PMHNPs with connections who have agreed), but as with everything worried about the possible fall through when clinicians actually start.
Quinnipiac has clinical built in but is 11,000-13,000 more. But has the better "name"
In the end money isn't a concern if the education is truly better, but if they are relatively the same education.. well yuh know I'd rather not spend more for the same
