I don't know how many people applied to the program but I got in on my first try I start this Spring. I applied to all the other programs in the area (RN,LVN, BSN sutter extended and ELMSN) and this was the only one I got into. You should go for it apply for everything, that will make your chances of getting in better.
I just applied to AR RN, Sac City RN and LVN programs. The lists were around 900 for AR, 750 for Sac City RN and 160 Sac City LVN when I turned mine in almost at the deadline. This is my 5th round of applications, but only my first try for LVN. I just turn in my apps and try not to worry about the numbers after that. :) Hope this helps! Good luck!

Im sorry if this has been posted before, but I got a question for those of you in the central valley. Have any of you attended/known someone who went to SCC for their LVN program? Im currently doing nusing prereq's + GE's at SolanoCC, but Im moving to Sac next July and was very strongly considering Sac City's LVN program.
I know the RN program is a lottery system with supposedly ~400 applicants a year, so Im sure the LVN program is also lottery based. But does anyone have any idea how many applicants they get a year/how many get in? Just tryin to figure out my odds.
