Rutgers University ABSN Summer 2024

Published

Hello everyone! I did not see a forum yet for Rutgers ABSN for Summer of 2024 yet so I thought I would make one! Nice to meet you all and best of luck for applications! Has anyone applied / heard anything back yet?

I submitted my application January 13 and sent my transcripts that night too!

Hope you hear back soon!

Hello,

Congrats to those that were accepted. I submitted my application on Dec 23rd and still waiting for a decision. I wanted to ask if y'all did the BLS certification already and submitted it with your application. Also does anyone have pending pre-reqs and still got accepted ?

TIA

Hi! I didn't submit my BLS certification with the application yet, and I have outstanding prereq, which is sociology, and still got accepted!

Thank you so much for your response. I have 2 outstanding prereqs (sociology and nutrition) but didn't submit my proof of enrollment with my application. I sent it via email last week to one of the admissions members. When did you get accepted ?

I checked my portal and it said I was accepted on Monday. Then I got an official email about it yesterday!

The wait is tough. I was hoping to hear back before my 2 outstanding pre-reqs, but they start tomorrow. 🤷‍♀️

It is though. But when did you submit your application ?

I submit my application Feb 1st. Till now I thought they were going in order of receiving them

I thought so too. But I have a degree from Europe and I listed it on my application. I haven't sent the transcripts for that one so I don't have it checked on my checklist. I'm not sure if I need to send the transcripts for it (I have a bachelor's degree in the US too). I'm trying to figure out if maybe that's what's holding my application (even though it says that it's under review). Keep me posted and good luck to you !

I would recommend sending the EU transcript since it's on your checklist. My application switched to under review about 4 weeks ago.
