My gpa is 3.875 and I've completed all of the sciences except patho (taking it this summer) because I got an associates degree before transferring to Rutgers. I don't know their exact stats, but the girl who didn't get in was around a 3.3 and the girl who got in was around a 3.8.
I applied last year as a transfer from my old school and got waitlisted/eventually denied so I'm extra nervous.. I still can't believe they are waiting until the last moments to finish contacting us!
I had a 3.8 GPA and an associates in liberal arts and science...but I still got waitlisted. I received the notification about being waitlisted May 15th and I received my acceptance June 15th. What was the notification deadline for New Brunswick? May 15th was the priority notification deadline for Newark and if you were waitlisted you would receive a final decision by August. I hope you get in...if you read another blog about Rutgers (don't remember which one) a new grad was saying how she applied for a job and they told her they were only accepting Rutgers grads at that time. It just shows how good their program is...I'll talk to my friend who goes to the New Brunswick campus to see if she heard anything.
The notification is different because I'm already a Rutgers student so it's a separate application (school-to-school transfer) and the notification deadline is today. I was 100% sure I would hear today, it doesn't make any sense! I called, but I'm sure no one is in the office past 5pm. :-/
i called on tuesday and they said that dean esteves is still reviewing applications and should be done by the end of the week.. so obviously lols we all will not hear by today. me being one of those people as well , although I know of 1 person who got letters already. just a question did you take all your sciences at rutgers or did you just transfer those science courses from another school?
oh! Thanks, it would have been helpful if they sent out an email or something, geez. I was trying to imagine how one could lose an online application!
At my old school I took A&P I & II, Microbio, and most of the general ed stuff that applies to the program and at Rutgers I took Nutrition, Chem of Life, Trends in Healthcare, and other general ed stuff I had left along with classes for a minor.

Has anyone else applied to the Rutgers New Brunswick traditional BSN program?
I'm actually a school-to-school transfer applicant (In SAS at NB right now) and I won't hear back until mid to late June, but I am already on the edge of my seat because I know how competitive it is.
