I'm a current Rutgers student interested in Nursing. Will I be able to transfer to the nursing school? How many credits do I need? If I transfer will they make me start from year one?

iZod, I went to a info session the other day in New Brunswick and the woman said that transferring from within Rutgers is very common, and you should be able to apply some of the credits you earn towards a nursing degree. Speak to someone in nursing ASAP so you are clear on what you need to do. It is easier to transfer from another school within Rutgers than to transfer from a completely different school.
Good Luck!

You want to try to have as many of the pre-reqs done before applying that way you're ahead a little bit. I would suggest completing the lower level nursing courses as well, you don't have to be a nursing student to register. I am in the nursing program in Newark and they transferred most school to school transfers as sophomores.
