Hi!! I was told by someone that they heard from someone else Feb. 15th, but I also applied and didn't receive anything today I checked my email 100+ times probably! I know a girl who got in last year and she said 2 - 3 weeks from the deadline she got an acceptance email so I don't know if there is any one particular date that they regularly send out acceptances unless someone from admissions recently told someone otherwise! I feel your pain though
I'm going totally crazy waiting knowing the time is coming soon.
Hey there! Yeah I've also heard and seen acceptance letters from at least 3 different people that were accepted last year and they're all dated February 15th.......they're also exactly the same, save for substituting the various names, so it's a generic acceptance letter.......It's driving me crazy too somewhat lol......I have not been able to focus all day, hopefully we know something by Friday, whether good or bad news either way.......If not it'll be a long wait until next week........ What I do think is they'll email everyone(all 50 ppl I guess) on the same day, since all they have to do is copy and paste our names, if accepted, into the email template.........
Good Luck! I hope we all here on this forum get in~~~
My cumulative GPA is a 3.69 but my science+english comp GPA is around 3.82. I got 'A'-grades in all but one science, I also took harder sciences, which I asked ahead of time if they could waive in lieu of CHM-101/102. The Chem's I took were CHM-111/112 and CHM-221/222 the regular chem and organic chem sequence for ppl that are considering med or dental schools, to keep my options somewhat open. I am not aware if they give special consideration for increased difficulty of courses. I had a letter of recommendation but I don't think it was extraordinary by any means, also no community service, but I've heard of ppl getting in without relevant experience, as they're going to teach us any skills we need to know.
Hoping the strength of my science GPA, which is the most relevant to capacity to succeed in nursing school, will push me over the edge. I also took the TEAS last friday on campus to cover my bases, I'm waiting to hear from rutgers first, since they announce so early, but if rejected, I'm applying to Lourdes' nursing program also. Just need more Recommendations as they require 2.
That might work in your favor. The good/bad news is that because it's so competitive, they turn down 4.0 students for students with lower gpas because their essay was better. It's so hard to predict what the outcome will be :/ It does say on their website they focus on your sciences (like most nursing programs) so that's good news. I have a 3.9 but I have really poor grades from previous colleges I've attended so I don't feel like I'm any better off than anyone else. I also applied to Lourdes, Holy Family in NE Philly and Widener. Holy Family and Widener offer BSN degrees, but there is a little bit of a commute. I've spoken to some classmates who have already gotten acceptances from Holy Family who said after scholarships given to them from Holy Family, the tuition was about $9,000/ year! Not bad for a Bachelor's in Nursing. Maybe you should consider them as well!

Hi I wanted to make this thread in order to ascertain those among us that have been accepted. Word on the street is that around this date (Feb15th) last year acceptance letters were emailed. No word as of yet, so now I'm just playing the waiting game lol.
Anyhow lets keep one another up to date with any new developments :)
