Rutgers Camden ABSN Books/Teachers

Nursing Students General Students

Published

Just wanted to toss a feeler out to see if anyone is/was in the program. I start this fall and just registered for classes: Health Promotion, Basic Clinical, Health Assessment, and Patho.

Does anyone have tips on what classes you can buy the older editions for? Also, how the classes are at Rutgers etc. Really anything to help a first semester student.

They have been really unresponsive lately and I want to get a head start on stuff. Thanks.

Hi! Im starting in the fall too and Im wondering the same things as well. I have my appt to register for courses this week coming up. Are the courses for fall semester Mon, Wed, & Fri? Did you get to choose which Patho course (day/time) to take or do the abs students have their own? Any insight would be appreciated! There is also a thread for our cohort on pre-nursing board where a few of us chat.

The courses are all throughout the week. I think I picked most for Mon Wed Fri. You do get a choice for what Patho you want on what day (not sure if its just ABSN students though), and they try to pitch the advanced patho that transfers right into the NP program. Which is cool if that's your direction. Can you link me to the thread for our cohort?

You take the advanced Patho or no?

If it doesn't hyperlink, the thread is on first page of pre-nursing at the moment

Link worked, thanks. No I didn't take advanced Patho because I'm going CRNA route not NP.
