Congratulations on your acceptance! I still haven't heard. I hope this doesn't mean bad news for me
Did you do all the pre reqs for Rutgers and did you have all the grades already when you applied, if you don't mind me asking? I did all the pre reqs except for Human Interactive Processes and Cultural Dimensions and am taking chemistry now.
Congrats!!!
If I have to take any of the challenge exams it'll be for Human Interactive Processes and Cultural Dimensions, too. I've taken a couple courses that are similar, but don't have exactly the same title, so I'm waiting to hear back as to whether those count as equivalent.
Have you visited the campus? I haven't yet; I need to figure out whether it'll be better to drive or take the train. Also, do you know when orientation is?
I have been to campus once and decided that for me it is better to drive. Also, I called them yesterday about orientation, and they said that they are still sending out acceptances and rejections, so they have not set a date for orientation yet. They told me to call back early next week which is what I am going to do. I will let you know when I hear anything.
Apparently last year orientation was on April 15th -- https://allnurses.com/new-jersey-nurses/14-month-accelerated-147827.html
I called last week and then again yesterday to ask when the orientation will be, but both times I got transferred a few times and then got answering machines. I left messages, so if I get a call back I'll let you know what they say.
Thank you so much for posting this! It is nice to get some information, finally. It has been hard to come by. I have also been able to get some information on challenging courses. I have the syllabi (not sure of the spelling) for the classes I need to challenge (I believe you might need the same ones). The syllabi list the books that one needs to read in order to challenge the courses and all the instructions on challenging. Let me know if you need these and thank you again for posting the tentative date for orientation!
I probably need the syllabi to challenge both Human Interactive Processes and Cultural Dimensions, but I haven't gotten a definite answer. I would private message you to discuss this (and the program in general) further but I don't have enough posts to do it yet. I just made this temporary e-mail address: seaside8161 -at- yahoo so you can contact me there, and I won't have to worry about getting lots of spam by posting my usual one on the web :)

I applied to Rutgers Accelerated BSN which starts this May. Has anybody applied and heard back? The wait is kiling me
