I am applying for Rutgers-Newark ABSN Summer 2022 start date. I wanted to know if anyone has heard back yet from the program?

We haven’t received our group assignments, but the lectures we all take together clinical and labs are different depending on the group they assign you. They said we will register some time this week.

My application status shows- submitted. Is anyone else’s application still not showing- under review? I have emailed with the office and have been told it is currently under review with the decision committee and today was told I should have a decision by tonight or tomorrow. But, I am concerned it is not “under review”. ?

Im so sorry to hear that you didn’t get in! I think they’re more grade based over experience. A lot of people get admitted without any clinical experience. 

I had a 4.0 in my pre reqs and a 3.7 for my first undergrad degree. & about 2 years of experience as a PCA.

Hey guys, I am so nervous.

I found out about this program late. I am from Queens so I wasn’t really checking out of state, but while browsing around I saw that the application is still open and I decided to apply. 
my overall GPA is 3.844 and I haven’t calculated my pre-reqs GPA but I have all A’s and B’s. I also work in a hospital as a PCA. I am just praying I get in. I applied on the 18th of April, so I know I am super late.   They said I should hear back within 2-3 weeks and it’s been the longest 2-3 weeks of my life. I know the journey will be far but I keep thinking that by next year august I will be done. I am just praying I get in and get this journey started and over with..   Will anyone be traveling from NY?

Hi guys I was admitted today!??I sent a message yesterday to ask why my application was not yet under review. I told them I had met all the requirements. The person on the website chat said that some how all my documents were not together because some got sent in a week after I applied, she put all my documents together and sent them to be reviewed. She told me that it would take another 2 weeks to get a decision but I checked just now on the website and I saw I was admitted. I then paid the $150 to hold my spot! I am exited to start guys! Hope to see you all in classes.  Does anyone knows when we will breaks during the 14 months?

We have a 3 week break after the Summer session. 8-17 until 9-6 then Winter break for about 3 weeks then Spring break then after the Spring semester is done we have about 2 weeks until Summer we have a break then
