Rush University CRNA - 2026

Hello everyone. Wanted to start a group about Rush University CRNA program if nobody has started one yet. Just submitted my application today... fingers crossed 🤞🏽

For people who got interviews: did you check your online rush application via ellucian to see the application status? Wondering if it changed at all in their supplemental application. I haven't heard anything from anyone and mine just says it was sent to director for review and it's "active".

I think last year when they sent out invites it was just solely for two days of interviews. They interviewed 80 applicants last year and accepted around 40. Not sure if this helps.

How did you know about this info? 80 is a lot. We are told that we will be given time slots.. I wonder how long each interview will be.

I didn't hear anything yet. 😞 Based on past years threads that they only send out interview invites once? So I'm assuming this is a no this year.

They sent interview times out this morning for those who got one, so maybe be on the lookout for any additional invitations. Looks like the interviews are over an hour.

I believe mostly EI, your run-of-the-mill scenario-based "tell me a time when ..." questions. Based on the email it looks like the interview will be either broken down into multiple sections with different faculty members, or maybe a couple panel style interviews. I'm planning on having a bank of patient care scenarios down that could cover a couple different potential questions.

I noticed last year it seemed that everyone got either invited or declined to interview on the same day. Does anyone got an idea if we're still being considered if we haven't heard anything?
