Hello,
I just booked my HOAE test for March 6th, REALLY want to get into Humber, have a friend who just started 2nd semester and LOVES IT!! I've soo nervous because this is my second attempt at trying to get in (took test last april for September 2012 start to no avail . Anywho, good luck!!!! Hope to see you in Sept!
The english essay is the easiest part! It's pretty much just your opinion on a topic, they are more concerned with your spelling, grammer, punctuation, sentence structure, and basic essay format ( introduction, point 1, point 1, point 3, conclusion), I think my topic was about how violence on T.V and video games relates to violence in youths
Good Luck.
Humber sucks guys! From the program coordinator to some awful teachers ! Lots of favoritism while giving out placements and moreover some students butter teachers up to get good marks in the assignments even if ure paper did not make sense . Honour students from humber have failed CNO 3 times ! Is that what you waste two years for?
Before I wrote my pre-entrance exam I looked desperately for information in regards to what material would be covered on the test to no avail. I bought the HOAE test book a few years prior and had noticed it was suggested as a study guide. In short, do not buy the book. The book covered concepts that the test did not... Honestly, if you passed grade 8 bio and chemistry you will not have an issue. I studied for weeks!! I think it's a money grab to be honest. I'm currently in the humber practical nursing program now and I love it! Best of luck to all future applicants!!
Hi sorry to bother you hoping you will he get my msg so I am applying to humber for practical nursing also and I am a mature student. How hard was the test what can I expect I was going to take some tutoring but not sure I did buy the book but it s really confusing me not enough information but tones of questions:(

Hi, I will be applying to Humber's RPN program for Sept 2013 intake. Anyone in the same boat? Or any advice from anyone who has already been in my situation? What to study, what to expect and any information on the program in general. Any comments will be much appreciated.
Thanks everyone. :)
