  1. Hi, I'm currently completing a RPN diploma. I will be done in April, 2015 and be writing my CNO's in June 2015. My question is for anyone that has already bridged from an RPN program. Will i be able to apply to the bridging programs although i haven't written my licensing exam as of the application deadline of Feb1st. I plan to receive my licence before I would start in the bridge program, but would they send me a conditional offer? ALSO can someone explain the procedure with OUIT's bridging program? When are the bridging courses taken and am i guaranteed a seat in the 3rd year of the program or do I need to re apply after finishing those courses? How long does the program generally take from start to finish? Thank for any advise!!!
  2. Wow. That is weird ... they told me it would take 3 weeks before the marks would come out, let alone admissions. very confused
  3. Hi, I will be applying to Humber's RPN program for Sept 2013 intake. Anyone in the same boat? Or any advice from anyone who has already been in my situation? What to study, what to expect and any information on the program in general. Any comments will be much appreciated. Thanks everyone. :)
  4. Its not that i wasn't good at math, i was just lazy. I had an 81 before exams but i didn't show up for the exam.i had taken an extra course in night school and didn't need the math credit so i gave up, big mistake on my part! I am taking chem and bio this year but i'm sure i'll get between an 80-85%. I also have completed 2 courses at Yorku. Will they look at my high school gpa or uni gpa when considering me ? my Uni gpa wasn't the greatest
  5. sorry, i meant the mohawk program at macmaster campus!
  6. Hi, I am planning on applying to the practical nursing program at Mohawk after i get my grade 12 chem and bio credits this year. My math marks in grade 11 and 12 were between 62-65%. English mark was an 85% and 2 other courses came up to 86% and 89%. Also i have complete 3 courses at YorkUniversity with a GPA of about a 65%. I just wanted to know what my chances of being accepted were and if my University course work would be taken into consideration swell ? If anyone can share information on their acceptance to the program to give me a little hope i'd really appreciate it!
  7. Hi, i have offers to do Pre-Health Science at George Brown or Seneca, i applied to late for the GASH program at Humber, and i really want to go to Humber to do my BsCN degree. Is this still possible? If so what are my chances of getting into the humber program with a Seneca or George Brown pre health certificate? Please if anyone has accomplished this or knows anyone who has let me know! Even if i can do my BsCN at any other university other then York with a seneca or George brown certificate let me know! I really Really need some hope! P.s im not looking to do practical nursing but if i dot get into any BsCn programs that will be my only option
  8. Oh hi, have you been accepted into the BN program yet? I'm just worried about how hard the science courses will be during the GAS program.. i'm not horrible at science.. I did take Chem and Bio and Physics at the University level in Grade 11 and I passed them all. Just want to be sure this is a better choice than going back to high school for a semester trying to bring up my avg to get into the BN program.
  9. Hey i applied to the GAS program at Humber waiting to write my admissions test. Any advice for the program? And also what Avg are the accepting students into the BN program with? i know they say cut off is like an 80 but how much higher is it really?
  10. Ok thanks i'll let you know once i get the email and we can make arrangements for me to get the book :)
  11. Ya for sure! i'm in the Brampton area so I'm sure we can meet up! Before i buy the book off you.. am i guaranteed a chance to write the admission test if i applied? And if i Get in i would love to buy the textbooks off you :)
  12. Oh actually Ya i'd love to buy it from you :) how much is it ? and how would i get it from you?
  13. That is really reassuring considering how stressed out i've been for the past few days about not getting into a college for next year! what was the easy based on last year? and what kind of math should i review for the admission test? When do the admission Test usually take place anyway?
  14. Lol i figure it our after.. I removed one and just paid an extra $10 to send my university transcripts to Humber from York. Now i just really hope i get in.. I got an 86 in high school english and graduated with an 82% avg over all. What do you think my chances of getting in are considering the late application?
  15. THANKS!! oh and just one more question, is it possible to apply to more than 5 college programs? or once you submit your payment for the application can you still change the college you applied too?
