RPN in canada and moving to New York

Hi everyone,

I am working in canada as a RPN and planning to move in NY. So, i have no idea what to do. I am so confused. I was told that i have to take Nclex exam to work in NY and if anyone of you have idea pls help me out. Also, i am looking for Nclex preparation class in toronto.:idea:

What visa will you have to work in the US? If you check out the NY BON website (links can be found to the state boards of nursing at the bottom of the page) all requirements will be there for LPN or RN for International nurse but I would hang off applying until you know what sort of visa (if required) you need as LPN doesn't always meet NAFTA so may be spending money that is wasted
