Does anyone know of a university that offers courses (RPN to BScN) online and where you can do your placements in your own community? I have been taking an RPN to BScn bridging program through another university however; I am looking to transfer to another university that offers more flexibility. For financial reasons and having a young family I am not able to cut back my hours at work or re-locate to another city/province.
Also if you can give any insight to people who want to bridge but only have failed a course in their rpn! thanks
I
don't have much information since I haven't applied there, but look into Athabaska University. You can do the program from home, but you have to go to Alberta for a short placement, and you have to maintain an AB nursing license. They are more lenient when it comes to admission requirements.
