Congrats!! I’m very excited for you! They said I would know in about two weeks and yesterday was exactly two weeks so I’m getting anxious now. I’m applying for the night and weekend program so hopefully that’s why it’s taking a little longer.

how are you feeling about starting school in a few weeks?

Thank you! Fingers crossed you receive good news ! I am nervous but Im ready to get started.

Hi @Rebeccajo Have you heard anything yet? I applied a few weeks ago and took my TEAS today which was the last thing I needed to submit so I'm curious how long I should expect to wait to hear back.

@Chelsea Bryan Hey! Did you ever hear back?

@Mama8572 I did not hear back yet! How about you? I reapplied in the beginning of July for the evening weekend program but haven’t received any notice that they received my application again. I am gonna call them this week! I’m really nervous ?

They called me back!! I was accepted into the evening/weekend program!

I turned everything in by the beginning of May. I was emailed early July for an interview. Had the interview mid July and was just accepted last week. It does take a few months. Are you applying for the night and weekend program? Good luck!!

@Chelsea Bryan No, I haven't heard anything yet. Anxiously waiting!! Do you have access to the online account to see if they received everything? If not, I would email them. They are pretty responsive. I am going to wait a couple weeks and email them if I do not hear anything. Fingers crossed!!

@Rebeccajo YAY!! Congratulations!! That is so exciting! How was the interview? The program starts in January right? Yes, I applied for the evening/weekend program too. I'm really hoping I get in!! If you don't mind me asking, what did you score on your TEAS? When I spoke with them they said the benchmark was 58.7 but most score in the 60's so I'm curious what competitive would be.

@Mama8572 yes I do have access to the applicant account! It does look like they received everything, but haven’t updated that I changed from day program to evening/weekend! I did email them twice with the change so I’m little nervous. But I think I just need to call! I’m very anxious I hope we get accepted! This has been such a long process for me LOL

I had a 77.3%. I over studied during quarantine. My GPA was a 3.0 and I did have some dropped classes from 2014 that I was worried about. Did you sign up for an orientation? It was very helpful. The one thing that delayed me was that I took college level algebra at ccp but that’s not considered college level at Roxborough. They required stats.

They asked weakness/strengths, why I wanted to be a nurse, why Roxborough, etc. the one question they asked that threw me off was “tell me about yourself” hahaha.

You still have plenty of time abs they do respond pretty quickly. I love the personal experience so far. Good luck and keep me updated!!

@Chelsea Bryan Oh good!! It's been a long process for me too so I know the feeling. I am also very anxious which definitely doesn't help, LOL. Good luck!! Keep me updated and I will do the same!

@RebeccajoThanks so much for the info. I just took my TEAS and got a 76.8 and was nervous I may have to retake it to be competitive enough. I did attend an open house virtually and agree it was super helpful! I went through the same thing! LOL but I took stats last year during, it was awful!

Good to know- so I can prepare if I am lucky enough to get an interview. Fingers crossed!! I'll keep you posted and hopefully see you in school!

I submitted the last of my requirements for the evening/weekend program in early July and I have been stalking the applicat portal everyday since. Today I noticed that it had a start date and the word "preferred" does anyone else have this on their portal?

@AmbitiousNurse89 Yes! I noticed this yesterday but I wasn't sure what it means. Have you heard anything from them at all? Did you take your TEAS?

Yes I took my TEAS in January but did not complete my last prerequisite until July 3rd, I haven't heard anything yet. My rank number says 1, I'm curious to know if everyone's says the same

Yes, mine says 1 under program rank too but not sure if it means anything. I know their next review is in September so I'm thinking we may not know until then? I'm just nervous about how many seats are left. They only take 32 for the evening/weekend program.
