Right but what about all the clearances? How can you do that in such short notice.. It’s not a No but it’s not a yes either. That’s the sucky part. How do you think your interview went? I hope you get in.

I feel like it went good. But I worry because I’m not a typical student. I’m 32 with a 5 year old. I decided to pursue school after having my son. I have to work hard at school. I worry that it’s not the type of student they want.

There is nothing wrong with that! Don’t worry. I am 22 no children and I have been working in hospitals since 17. It’s not a No! I guess they filled up classes and were still doing interviews at the time. I’m just hoping a few spots open up for us. I gave them a call and asked when the deadline is and I didn’t really get too much of an answer so I emailed Alea. It’s another waiting game ?

Me too. I’m just so discouraged right now. Like I’m not going to be able to just wake up and switch my life into nursing school if the call me off the waitlist with short notice. Hopefully Alea has some answers or guidance

Yes you’re absolutely right. I need tome to be prepared and and it’s hard when they give you short notice. But hopefully she emails me back and let’s me know something.

Hey. I just heard back from Alea. She said the waitlist is long this year, that there was an influx of apps. She said by Mid December you would hear if you are off the waitlist. I just don’t understand if it’s full, why interview more people. When I interviewed 10/30, there was at least 4 names ahead of me. And two girls waiting when I left.

I asked her if I don’t hear, do I have to reapply/resend all my transcripts or will they keep the transcripts on file.

@DreaminRn Hey. That’s what I was afraid of hearing. When I interviewed I also saw about 3 people ahead of me. I just don’t understand why get someone’s hopes up by interviewing just to put them on this list. Did you figure out what number you were on the list? Also, mid December? What happened if you’re not off the list. Does that mean you have to re apply? Ugh.

Hey! Wanted to let you know I spoke To Alea today regarding the waitlist and she pretty much told me the same thing she told you. I asked her what were my chances of getting in and if I should move forward looking into a different program and she told me no need because I was accepted!
Don’t give up.. I’m really hoping you are next in line. If not, inquire about next semester ? Good luck!

Woooohoo! Congrats on being accepted! That is so awesome. Fingers crossed I’m close on the waitlist.

Hey everyone! I'm hoping to apply soon. I'm going to an information session in December to find out more. I took the TEAS and I got a 75 and I currently have every class done but nutrition and my GPA is a 3.2. I want to start Fall 2020. I'm so nervous.
