Roseman University ABSN Utah July 2017

Published

I was just accepted into the ABSN July 2017 cohort for the South Jordan campus! I'm looking for any of my colleagues. Super excited to meet you all!

Congrats on your acceptance! My application was placed on hold due to my TEAS score. I applied and interviewed at the Henderson, NV campus. I plan on retaking my TEAS on the last week of February. I am hoping to get in Fall 2017 for the traditional program.

If you don't mind me asking, what was your TEAS score? Also, do you mind sharing some info on the interview?

TEAS were 90.7 overall. I studied my butt off going over what I learned in the 3rd grade, haha. The interview was super chill. They asked what 3 things I've done to prepare for being a good nurse, how did I handle a difficult situation, how have I established trust with someone, and I don't remember the rest! I memorized lab values, fancy med terminology, and stuff about the school, and none of it was relevant, lol.

The essay question was on how you define professionalism.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! That was a great help. How long did the interview last? Congrats again on getting accepted. I still have yet to take my TEAS and that is the factor that will determine if I get in or not!

Interview was only like 15 minutes. Yeah, the TEAs are pretty big. Did they have you study with that professor? The guide he gave me was SO helpful!! It went over did I haven't seen or heard of in years. Are you looking to get into Henderson or SJ?

What professor? was this through Roseman? I want a study guide.. WHere can I get more info on this? And im applying to the Sj campus. Do you know if they accept more than 40 student?

Hi Chelsea! I will be in your cohort. I was actually in the BSN program this past August and completed Block 1. I had to put school on hold due to the needs of my family, but I'm ready to go back. I think the ABSN program will be better for me because I will be able to take my daughter to school and pick her up most days. I loved the program though and the classmates I was with. I'm super excited to go back!

Yay, finally someone!!!!!

What kind of questions do they ask at the interview and how many questions?

They asked what things I've done to prepare for being a nurse, how I deal with conflict, and how I have established trust in my workplace.
