Hi everyone! I am applying to Roseman’s ABSN hybrid program for June 2023. I received an interview invite for next week and I’m so so nervous for it! I’ve been reading all of the forums to help with my interview. Can anyone give me insight on the interview process? Questions on the interview? Is it a group interview or are you alone with the panel? Any help is appreciated, thank you!

No matter the TYPE of interview there are tons of info online as to how to interview for a nursing job. Know as much as you can about the company that you're interviewing for. Write & memorize key points from their mission statement. Learn to master answers to scenario questions. Try your best to not seem nervous. Eat a good meal, try to concentrate on other, happy things pre-interview. WRITE a thank you note post interview to let them know you appreciated their time. Chillax after that knowing you did the best you could, no matter the outcome. If it's meant to be , it will happen. Best to you....... jeff

Hey!! Thank you so much :) I was accepted into their Henderson campus for Fall 2023. I was in the first round of applicants. Best of luck to you on your interview! You'll do great. It was really relaxed so don't be nervous. I'm happy to provide any info if you have any questions ☺️

Congratulations! So happy for you! I'm still doing my pre reqs and I have to take TEAS test before I apply. I hope to get into the Fall 2023 cohort.
Do you all have recommendations on what to use to study for the TEAS? I'm probably going to get the Mometrix book.

Thank you so much! I appreciate it. You'll do great on the TEAS! I used the Mometrix book and utilized their additional bonus material online as well. I highly recommend watching thetutor_geek on YouTube. She has many TEAS 7 prep videos and does a great job explaining concepts. I only had 3 weeks to study for my TEAS so I made sure to take 1-2 practice tests per week, review all of the questions/answers, and review concepts that I was weak at. Don't forget to review Chemistry! Thetutor_geek has a great comprehensive video on Chemistry for the TEAS. I found the mometrix book pretty dry so it was difficult for me to study from it other than using it for the practice exams...I went online to the ATI TEAS 7 exam outline and made sure I knew every concept that will be on the exam. They have an outline on what you need to know. I also did some free test prep on the ATI testing website. I also recommend downloading the ATI TEAS 7 practice test app! They have a bank of questions on all of the subjects on the exam. It's great to do on your free time/down time or a little bit before bed every day ?
Most importantly, try to stay relaxed and don't fret too much about it. You'll do great as long as you put in the work and study. I can tell you now that the TEAS 7 was easier than I expected it to be. I was so nervous for no reason!
Good luck! I know you'll do amazing. I'm happy to help if you have any additional questions.
Thank you so much for the resources! I will definitely look into it. I work full time right now, so I definitely need to squeeze in the studying on the weekends.
Do you think I can reach out to you via email or something? I'm not sure if this platform let me message you. Thank you again for your kindness!

Don't be nervous, you will do amazing! It was a lot more relaxed that I thought it was going to be. You have one round of interviews with staff or I think staff and a current student, but I had my interview with the dean of the college of nursing at Roseman and a professor. They were both really kind and they made me feel comfortable. Treat it like a conversation :) I also made sure to be well prepared for my interview! Feel free to email me [email protected] and I give you a list of questions that helped me prepare for the interview :) Good luck and I know you'll do great!
