Rose State College Nursing Fall 2015

Hey everyone! I was just seeing if anybody else out here was submitting an application for the nursing program at Rose State College for the fall 2015 semester. I would love to hear back from those who are and be able to communicate with during the long waiting period! Thanks!!!

Has anyone else received anything from Rose State?

Yes! Got a letter yesterday. I was .01 off on my GPA and because I was on the edge that dropped my 10 points! I still had 115 according to my letter which is also the cut off but I wasn't accepted. It also said I am 5th alternate. I'm not banking on 5 people decided not to attend Rose but if that happens, I'd have a chance. I'm meeting with the director next Tuesday to talk about the 1+1 program too that they offer to February applicants. But they won't know anything further for me or other alternates until acceptance letters are sent and answered toward the end of April.

Okay now I'm starting to panic a little about my GPA!! But I'm sorry to hear that and it doesn't hurt to have some hope!! : )

And they said they were sending acceptance letters toward the end of April, or have they already sent them out?

It's a longer process to get acceptance letters ready so those won't be sent for a little while longer.

She said its a longer process and those will all be done and sent hopefully by the end of April (May 15th at latest). Update us when you receive yours! I'm meeting with the director Tuesday to talk about the 1+1 option. My friend did that at OSU OKC and she is about to graduate! So I'm crossing my fingers that I get started somehow in the fall!

Sorry I am a little late to this. I applied for Fall 2015 and I haven't heard anything back yet! It is making me nervous especially with people already receiving their letters.

That's probably a good thing! I received a letter telling me I was an alternate a couple weeks ago. Acception letters take them longer to get ready! You two are probably in! Denial letters have already been sent.

The cutoff for points is 115 and I had the points but someone beat me with a higher gpa! So I'm an alternate.

That stinks that they send them out so late. Most of my classes are transfer classes so I wasn't sure if they would transfer over or not. Do you know if we can call to find out what our point totals are at least that they came up with?
