Role Playing

One of the members came up with an awesome concept. Well, I don't know if he/she came up with it, but I was enjoying the learning process. Role playing. What a great idea. Set up a scenerio and have assigned people in positions to play their part. It was very interesting. Anyone ever partake in nurse roll playing?? It's really neat. If anyone ever does that or knows where we can do that, PM me...I'm totally interested. Thanks.

We did a TON of roleplaying in nursing school as part of our labs! It was fun, informative and at times down right hillarous!

One of my Oscar Winning Performances..LOL, I was supose to be a woman who had a large lump in her breast she couldn't get looked at for a year due to no insurance, so I go to a clinic after finally getting some insurance. The nurse (poor gal!) was to have three other patients, for shortness lets just say all very demanding of her time. So here I am, waiting to be seen...been in the clinic for over 45 minutes with my kids about to get out of school in an hour...and I flip out at the nurse!

I was great~! I really actually had her shaking...and about to cry!

This is real life, and something we all have to be able to overcome! It was a great learning experience, and we all discussed ways to make the best of that situation without crawling under the desk or hiding in the bathroom! LOL!

Wish we had done one on death of a patient and a scenero of family issues during this time. Like when one family member wants one thing done, the other doesn't...that would have been a great one to learn to quell!!!!

(the funny one I did was playing a drunk in the ER...it was hillarious!)
