Rockland Community College (RCC) Nursing Program Fall 2024

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi! I wanted to start a thread for anyone who is applying or applied to Rockland's ADN program for fall 2024. Also, would love some insight as I scored pretty low on the TEA's (scored a little above the minimum of 58%) and want to know if I should retake it.

Hi! I just applied for the Fall '2024. I take my TEAS Saturday I know it's very last minute but I'm worried I'm missing things for the application. What else did you do?

Hi! All we need to submit are our applications, school transcripts which need to be sent directly from the school (high school or college) and also send your TEAS transcript directly from ATI.

Thanks so much! I am very nervous because I am so last minute! I wish you good luck with the acceptance progress 🫶

Hi! I also applied for fall '24 and took my TEAS already. Hopefully my score is good enough.

What did you get on the TEAS? (If you don't mind me asking, of course!) I'm taking mine tomorrow, I really hope they get my scores to RCC before the 15th 🤞

Good luck! Hopefully we all get in 😊

I got a 62 on the TEAS, and I hope your scores get there in time too

My score was way lower than I was hoping for honestly, I got a 66🥲. Good luck on your exam tomorrow! Let me know what you get, if you don't mind - your scores should be sent to RCC right away!

I got an 81 on my TEAS. I'm very happy with myself however I emailed an admissions counselor last week making sure there was nothing else I needed and they said "Outstanding items are your high school transcript and Patten University transcript.” but I had already sent my college transcript so I thought I was fine. Now I am very overwhelmed and confused, wondering how it all works out for getting into the nursing program. Is there anyone anyone has talked ? I signed up for the open house but it's kind of a ways off

Congrats on your score! So from what the website says on the application page where it shows your decision that you've been accepted into to the school, if you miss the application date or don't get into to the program you can attend RCC as an undeclared seeking nursing major and take classes you need for the nursing program and also speak with an advisor from the school of nursing and they can help you further with what steps to take to get in.
