Hey everyone!
Hoping someone, anyone, finds this thread lol. I've been looking on the Internet and AllNurses and I haven't been able to find a thread about students entering the nursing program for Fall 2016 at RCC. I figured I would start a thread as a way to get us all aquatinted with one another. Also, if anyone out there who plans on applying to RCC has any questions, feel free to ask! :)
I know lol. I would print the power point slides out prior to lecture and I would write my notes on the power points. Then I would read the chapters and re-listen to the recorded lecture & add in any extra notes to help me understand the material. Also in the syllabus there's key words and topics under each assigned reading and I would make sure I took notes on those too. Then I would just re-read the PowerPoint slides I made my notes on to study :) there's always questions on maslows hierarchy of needs
Just read and make sure you understand the material and do practice questions from the books. I had professor annunziato for lecture and I thought she was really good, she really stressed the important topics to focus on and her power points were really good. I think I mentioned one of the books earlier in this post the "Fundamentals of Nursing Content Review and practice questions" really helped me get ready for NCLEX style exams.
