Congrats on the interview. My application still just states submitted. Does the status change when your application is  under review. Where can I see that if so.

Thank you! Last time I checked my application after I completed the interview, it just stated submitted. I’m not sure if that would change before admission.

Ahhh okay. Well that’s good to know.

How was the interview are you applying strictly to the AMPNN Program, or are you open to being considered for the ABPNN. I read in pervious year forums that you will need to interview for both. Also what kind of questions did they ask? If you don’t mind sharing your experience. ?

Has anyone else had an interview. I got an email about Covid vaccines being required for the 2022 cohort and that decisions will be released the end of September.

hi everyone! do you mind sharing your experience and example questions they asked you during the interview? to be quite frank, I don't have a degree in nursing nor do I have I had volunteer experience, and im wondering if you guys know if that might impact the application? my gut says prob. any information regarding the interview would help ? thanks all ! wish you all the best!

@bunnylove  have you been contacted to schedule an interview

Specializes in B.S. Biology.

Hey guys! I was interviewed on August 25th for the bachelor’s level. The interview lasted for an hour, and my interviewer asked me questions like why U of R, why nursing, name one strength that makes you stand out, etc. I believe they have a list of questions, and depend on how you answered it, they will choose different questions to ask. For me tho, after a couple questions, my interviewer just went spontaneous and asked me random questions. It was very conversational and the interviewer was very nice. My second interview would be on Sep 15th which will be 30mins.

On my application I said I’ll be open to Bachelor’s level.

How’s everyone’s experience? Do you know how many spots are available for each specialty?

Goodluck to everyone!!

Congratulations on your interviews, thank you for the examples. I selected on my application that I would not like to be considered for the bachelors level. My reason because I would responsible for the cost in its entirety, because I exhausted my undergrad loans with the 1st degree. Has any interviewed for the Master’s entry.

Congratulations on the interviews and thank you for the examples! I also did the same -- I did not select "open for bachelor's level". My reason is simply that I did not want to go for the undergrad degree, I would want a graduate degree since I'll be paying for this entirely myself as well.

Wait so if you don't get the second interview, is that an automatic indicator that they aren't considering you for the masters program?
