RN's who have applied to University of Maryland for FNP/DNP for 2021, have you guys been offered an interview?

I submitted my application to the PMHNP program back in November, but still haven't received any updates regarding my application and I'm so anxious, as many others are in this position! My application status still says "Committee review". Has anyone been offered an interview or completed their interview already?

I haven't heard from them either--looking at the timeline, interviews are being offered until mid February and decisions are given late February and early March. I'm not sure if this is accurate during COVID??

I heard that UMD is notorious for taking their sweet time with the admissions process. I do know of a few people who have already gotten their interviews and been offered admission. I'm starting to lose hope for myself ? I'm trying to figure out plan B now

Just out of curiosity, were your friends attending UMD prior to applying to Grad school? I know current students are usually accepted quicker than out-of-state and people who don't go to school there. Don't loose hope just yet! Until they officially update the portal, anything is possible (I hope haha).

The few people I'm referring to are actually people from another forum on this site. I don't think any of them attended UMD for undergrad. Check out the thread "UMSON DNP FALL 2021". I'm trying to stay hopeful! Hoping we can call each other classmates soon?
