There are medical companion traveler jobs that private folks just hire out someone with medical training. It's just what it sounds like, but you're hanging out with a person with one type of medical issue or another for the duration. The degree of disability/illness varies so that would affect how much free time you'd get and how much 'at task' care you'd be giving.

I'm a registered nurse who would love to work in aviation but NOT as a flight nurse. I would love some suggestions/ guidance on what I need to do to get a job in this field. Do major airlines even hire medical professionals?
I want to travel but not be a travel nurse. It's very specific what I'm looking for.
