As per headline states, I am a newly grad RN with my associates. I was an LPN for 8 years in SNF.
I know most travel agencies require one year RN experience within hospital.
However , I want to travel within LTC , are there any agencies that will accept my LPN experience ? Since I worked in SNF and have plenty experience and skills?
also. I'm currently in Midwest. Ideally I want to go back to nyc (Brooklyn or queens) to travel and was hoping it would be thru an agency that places nurses in a Hotel or provided housing versus a stipend for housing (I'm from nyc and it's so incredibly hard to find housing and I prefer the agency to have this set up in the city)
ideally my end goal is to save money and move down south with my family.
I thought about getting a year experience in hospital where I'm at now but honestly I'm ready to get out and speed up this process. I thought I would be more eager to work in a hospital setting but honestly I've been working LTC for so long it's grown on me a lot and I'm good at my job and enjoy geriatrics
