Hi, I am a current RN student and have completed my first year. I have tailored my resume and am working hard on getting into the field by applying for CNA/PCA jobs. Initially I only had a Professional summary at the beginning of my resume, but now I am working on adding an Objective to improve employer's interest in me. This is the objective I have come up with. Does anyone have any suggestions or is this objective sound good? Any responses are greatly appreciated! Thanks
Objective:
My goal is to provide the best individualized care using my strong clinical skills to have the patient reach the highest possible physical and mental well-being. Also aim to give my all to provide the charge nurse or other care planning staff with the specific information and observations of the residents' needs and preferences.
I would shorten it to the first sentence only. I do not believe they will read too much. Also, you do not have " strong clinical skills " at this time. Good luck on your job search!!
